Rapid fire Spread 2 does the same damage as a single shot of spread 3, but it takes longer to shoot, so that's why people would just say single fire magna lbg. If you must use RF S2, I suppose jyura is the best option. Also, Zinogre shines in shooting slicing and single fire N3, with N2 being back up, generally, if I'm not mistaken.Plus shield mods and scope mod don't exist. Plus LBG has a spread gun with a disgusting amount of raw. Spread HBG might do more damage than spread LBG on paper but in a real hunt, there's just no good reason to play spread HBG over LBG in sunbreak. And with Spread being a riskier ammo type, especially with the gunner defense modifier in master rank, that further compounds the issue. Pierce LBG is my favorite definitely. 1.Malzeno lbg can reload on the run and has good clip size, good raw and lv4 deco slot, as it's low base affinity I think it is best used for monsters with large weakpoints and utilize WE to help boost it crit chance. Its interesting for lbg rapid pierce, comparing the Malzeno to cgore. Base stats malzeno has 0% affinity and 330 raw. It has only a 1* rampage slot, so you usually have to qurio mod it up to fit a good dec. It has a nice 4* slot, and decently low recoil and reload. Normal 2 rapid fire is pretty bad. Really if you want an easy to use LBG you can use for nearly anything, go with Rapid Fire Pierce. The barroth bowgun can be built really early and can carry you till you can build the Nargacuga LBG which you can use all the way up to endgame Master Rank upgrading it as you go.Dragon Pierce Bow Build.
